DAY 1 ARUSHA Meet at
arrival point and transfer to your lodge for pre-safari briefing.
KIGONGONI LODGE (Dinner)
DAY 2 ARUSHA-TARANGIRE
After a delicious breakfast at the lodge, we set off in the direction of
Tarangire National Park via the colour craft markets of East Africa. We
arrive at our luxury camp for lunch before setting off game driving for the
afternoon. We return to our private camp on sunset which provides us with a
classic bush experience and ensures intimacy.
OLIVER’S CAMP (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
DAY 3 TARANGIRE-NGORONGORO
An optional early morning walk starts our adventure today. Tarangire is
home to an array of wildlife and this unique opportunity to view animal
behaviors and natural habitats is exclusive to Oliver’s Camp. We return for
a hearty breakfast before heading off to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Entering the Crater for an afternoon Game Drive is a spectacular way to end
of day.
NGORONGORO SOPA LODGE (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
DAY 4 NGORONGORO-SERENGETI
Depart after breakfast to the endless plains of the
Serengeti, passing through some Maasai bomas where you will be able to meet
the Maasai and exchange greetings and cultures. Upon entering the
Serengeti, we are able to game drive all the way to our exclusive camp that
is situated in the prime game areas of Ndutu and Moru. We enjoy an excellent
lunch followed by an afternoon game drive.
OLAKIRA CAMP (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
DAY 5 SERENGETI
Exchange camps today for the spectacular North Serengeti. It is an unspoilt
area offering perfect viewing of the Wildebeest Migration along the
Tanzanian side of the Mara River. Our camp is the only permanent tented
camp in the area and so habitats are natural and off road game driving is
possible around the camp. There are resident cats and herd animals for us
to observe.
SAYARI CAMP (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
DAY 6 SERENGETI
Return to the central and south of the Serengeti today to explore these
game-filled areas. It is also a perfect location to partake in the
breath-taking Serengeti Balloon Safari (optional).
OLAKIRA CAMP (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
DAY 7 SERENGETI-LAKE MANYARA
After an early morning Game Drive, we are able to transfer to Lake Manyara
for our afternoon Game Drive. We stop en-route for a classic safari picnic
and enjoy our last glimpse of the great wilds of the Serengeti. Lake
Manyara offers an insight into the Great Rift Valley system and the
adaptation of many herd animals and magnificent birdlife.
KIRURUMU TENTED CAMP (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
DAY 8 LAKE MANYARA-ARUSHA-BEYOND
We partake in a casual breakfast before continuing on to Arusha, via Maasai
Craft Markets to view wares of exceptional quality and skill. You are then
transferred to your departure point or lodge
